In the cold of early February, John and the band left winter behind and spent a week on the beautiful Norwegian Pearl for a week of sun and music on the Cayamo Cruise, playing alongside Kris Kristofferson, John Hiatt and more. In addition to John’s own packed sets, Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale asked him to play a George Jones tribute with Kristofferson and Joe Purdy, and the Lone Bellow invited him to sit in for part of their set.
