Here’s the announcement of the ASCAP Foundation’s selection of John for the 2012 Harold Adamson Lyric Award. There are three videos at their site, including an interview with John, and John playing the award-winning song, “Moving.” Many thanks to the ASCAP Foundation for their support of singer-songwriters.
Friends of this site may remember that John was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal’s Jim Fusilli last month at the All Good Cafe in Dallas. Last week John was in NYC, and he paid a visit to Jim at the Off Duty Studio.
John’s June 17 (Sunday) show at Stage One in Fairfield, CT is being postponed until fall.
This week the ASCAP Foundation has announced that John’s song “Moving” is the recipient of their annual Harold Adamson Lyric Award. John will be formally honored at a gala event in New York on December 12.
The Boston Globe posted a great interview with John Fullbright this past Sunday.
John played a couple of shows down in the Houston area this weekend, and in between he paid a visit to the good people at KPFT radio. You can hear him on their show, “Spare Change,” at their archives.
